We run our own vehicles with drivers from the districts they work in, book homestays directly with the families, and handle permits in-house. We are not a booking portal reselling somebody else's trip.

Book unnamed hotels. You get the property names before you pay.

Are you a registered tour operator?

Yes, we are a registered travel business operating in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Registration details are on every invoice and we are happy to share them before you pay an advance.

Do you arrange permits for foreign nationals?

Yes. Foreign nationals need a Protected Area Permit and must travel in a group of at least two. Allow three to four weeks and a fixed itinerary.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations more than 30 days before arrival are refunded in full less permit and bank charges. Between 30 and 15 days, the advance is retained. Within 15 days, charges depend on what we have already paid to hotels. Full terms are on the terms page.

Can you handle large groups or corporate trips?

Yes, up to around 40 people with Tempo Travellers and multiple vehicles. Tawang has limited room capacity, so give us as much notice as you can for large groups in season.

What is the difference between an Arunachal travel agent and a tour operator?
