Getting to Arunachal from Guwahati
No flight needed. We pick you up from your home, your hotel or Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (GAU) and start driving the same morning.
If you are collecting guests arriving from elsewhere, note that the airport is around 20 km from the city centre and the drive east towards Bhalukpong bypasses the city — there is no need to come into town first.
By train
Guwahati railway station is the main junction of the North East. If you are joining from elsewhere in Assam or from Siliguri, trains run frequently and we can pick you up at the station.
How many days of leave you need
A 7-day Tawang tour needs exactly 7 days. A 5-day Dirang trip needs 5. No travel days lost at either end.
The rule is simple: add one day at each end of the tour length if you are flying from outside the North East. Our tour lengths are quoted from Guwahati.
