Booking, payment, cancellation and the things outside anyone's control.

Booking and payment
- A 25% advance confirms your dates. The balance is due seven days before arrival.
- Permit applications begin only after the advance is received, as they require your identity documents.
- Prices are quoted per person on twin sharing, land only, and assume the group size stated in the quote. A change in group size changes the price.
Cancellation
- More than 30 days before arrival: full refund less permit fees and bank charges.
- 30 to 15 days: the advance is retained.
- Fewer than 15 days: charges depend on non-refundable amounts already paid to hotels and transport providers. We will show you the actual costs.
- No-show or departure after the trip has started: no refund for unused services.
Circumstances outside our control
Mountain travel in Arunachal Pradesh is subject to weather, landslides, road closures, military restrictions near the border and permit decisions by government authorities. We cannot guarantee access to Bum La Pass, Sangetsar (Madhuri) Lake or any specific pass or road.
If a route is closed we will rearrange the itinerary to give you the best available alternative. Genuine additional costs, such as an extra night's accommodation, are passed on at cost without a margin. We do not refund the value of a destination that becomes inaccessible due to weather or official restriction.
Permits
We apply for permits on your behalf using the documents you supply. Issue of a permit is at the discretion of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us, and for carrying valid identification throughout the trip.
Health and fitness
Several itineraries reach altitudes above 13,000 ft. You must tell us before booking about any heart, lung or other condition affected by altitude. Travel insurance covering high altitude and medical evacuation is strongly recommended.
Liability
We arrange transport and accommodation with third-party suppliers and take reasonable care in selecting them. We are not liable for loss, injury or delay arising from the acts of those suppliers, from natural events, or from your own actions.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in [your city].
